History of the Boys and Girls Club
In 1900 it was called " The Everyday Club" , it was for boys who were disadvantaged and didn't have a place to go after school.
1929 Thirty clubs were across the country. The club was established by Vernon McAdam. He was the first National Executive Director. In 1974 with the growing number of girls participating in the club it was later named the Boys and Girls Club.

We chose the Boys and Girls Club as a NGO because we knew this NGO the most and its a good NGO because it helps boys and girls experience new opportunities.
